Community Eid party

• 30children and young people

An Eid celebration organised by two local women residents and supported by Minority Matters, bringing together 30 children and young people, many of whom are neurodiverse or have disabilities.

The celebration included a trip to a trampoline park, followed by pizza and burgers, creating opportunities for young people to have fun, build friendships and celebrate their culture and identity in a safe and inclusive environment.

The event highlighted the value of resident-led initiatives in strengthening community connections and creating a sense of joy and belonging. Special thanks to our two parent champions from Islington for making the celebration possible.
