Girls' baking and art and craft sessions

Our art, craft and baking sessions provide girls aged 11–18 with a creative and welcoming space to express themselves, develop practical life skills and build lasting friendships.

So far, we have delivered 14 open-access baking sessions, engaging 140 girls, with the programme still ongoing. Led and organised by the girls and young women themselves, the sessions encourage creativity, teamwork and leadership while building confidence through hands-on activities, recipe preparation and healthy cooking.

By giving participants an active role in shaping the programme, we foster independence, collaboration and a sense of pride in their achievements.
