Forty children and young women, alongside some of their brothers and 14 staff and volunteers, took part in an unforgettable summer residential. The trip provided a safe and supportive environment to try new experiences, build friendships and develop confidence.

A highlight was the talent show, where even the shyest participants felt comfortable expressing themselves through singing and dancing. Group discussions also created space for important conversations around personal safety, while participants wrote letters to their future selves to be opened in a year's time.

A huge thank you to our parent volunteers for preparing meals and catering for the group, as well as our host for the freshly made pizzas. From meaningful conversations to dancing together, the residential created lasting memories and strengthened relationships across the group.
